Approved Training Centre with The Royal Lifesaving society
We are an approved Training Centre with the royal Lifesaving Society, this means that all our First aid and Lifeguard courses are regulated by Ofqual, we are audited annually internally and externally to ensure that our training qualifications meet the required standards of the awarding body and Ofqual.
We have a number of regular slots booked throughout the year at various locations within Leicestershire/ South Derbyshire & Staffordshire, however we can arrange extra sessions at short notice depending on your requirements. The Pingle Academy
The Pingle Academy is situated in South Derbyshire and has recently undergone a multimillion pound refurbishment, we use this venue to deliver our aquatic based qualifications including the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification.

The Woodville Box Club

When does training take place?
Our training courses usually run between 8:30am and 4:00pm. Course run times vary so courses may finish or start earlier/later than specified.
Due to limited availability our venues are only available to take bookings between Wednesday and Friday, we can occasionally accommodate other days with advance notice including weekend training dates. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
What happens on the day?
Candidates are asked to arrive 15 minutes prior to course commencement to allow for the pre-course administration, there will be regular refreshment breaks allocated throughout the day, all our courses will include a combination of theory, practical and visual presentations, most of our courses also include a multiple choice theory exam.
How many people can attend each course?
A maximum of 12 people can attend any course at our venue. We work to one instructor per 12 people.
What facilities does the training centre have?
Our facilities vary at each venue, we endeavour to give an accurate account available at each of our facilities via our website, however venues reserve the right to change the facilities they offer without notice.
Are venues wheelchair accessible?
We endeavor to ensure all our venues have accessible toilets. If you have any special requests or requirements please specify on your booking form or contact us prior to the training date to discuss your needs.
How much do training courses cost?
Our costs will vary for onsite training dependant on the number of candidates, distance to get to your venue and how many days the course consists of. Please complete the booking form on our website or contact us for a firm quotation.
When do we get our certificates? Do we get them on the day?
We aim to have digital certification with our clients within 7 working days of completion, candidates do not receive certificates on the day of training.
How do I make a booking?
Clients can book on a course using the online booking form via email or telephone, once candidates have been confirmed, ETS will issue an invoice that must be paid 7 working days prior to course commencement, please see our T&C.
