Outdoor Activity First Aid

The Sports and Activity First Aid course is designed for all clients who have an involvement in sports and recreational activities in both the professional and voluntary sectors. The course can be easily adapted through the inclusion of appropriate outdoor scenarios to meet the needs of the outdoor world.

This course will provide participants with the opportunity to gain fundamental knowledge and skills in order to recognise and manage common injuries sustained in activities and provide immediate non-emergency care.

The course covers the content of Emergency First Aid and, as such, the course will meet the recommendations of the Health and Safety Executive for training emergency aid to the appointed person.

This course is mapped to the learning outcomes of the Level 2 Award in Activity First Aid.

A maximum of 12 people can attend each course. We work to one instructor per 12 people.

Maximum class size: 24 candidates with two instructors 

Our costs will vary for onsite training dependant on the number of candidates, distance to get to your venue and how many days the course consists of. Please complete the booking form on our website or contact us for a firm quotation.

This qualification lasts for 3 years from date of completion.

A retraining course is required every 3 years to maintain the award.

All of our first aid training courses can be delivered from a suitable room at your premises or from our training centre in Moira, near Swadlincote.

Clients can book on a course using the online booking form via email or telephone, once candidates have been confirmed, ETS will issue an invoice that must be paid 7 working days prior to course commencement see our T&C.
